Grist worked with Ground Reconsidered and SMP Architects to design a new classroom and library building at The Miquon School. Along with the construction of the new building, The Miquon School took the opportunity to reimagine the “Heart of the Campus”, which included natural play features, rain gardens, and pathways to create a more cohesive campus.

The stormwater system consists of four rain gardens strategically placed around the building to manage runoff from the building’s rooftop and certain flood prone areas of campus while defining new pathways, play areas, and transitional spaces.
