Stormwater Drainage Well- Example System Level Detail

Grist teamed with Studio Sustena to develop cost-effective stormwater management solutions on single-family residential developments in Philadelphia. Grist worked with the Philadelphia Water Department (PWD) to develop technical Stormwater Management Practice details that can be implemented on small sites. Grist also lead an analysis with the goal of streamlining regulatory administrative burden and permitting for residential and other small site development types. The output of this project were new and improved details that are now part of the PWD Stormwater Management Guidance Manual, published in 2026, to address stormwater management on small sites.
